These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services of Chandigarh Tour Travels, including local, outstation, airport transfers and tour packages. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website or proceed with a booking.
2. Bookings & confirmations
- Bookings can be made via our website, WhatsApp, phone call or email. A booking is treated as “confirmed” only after you receive a confirmation message, email or voucher from us.
- It is your responsibility to provide accurate details including mobile number, pickup address, date, time, number of passengers and luggage.
- For tour packages and long‑distance trips, we may require a token advance to secure the booking. Failure to pay within the communicated time may lead to automatic cancellation.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings in case of incorrect information, misuse, or any situation affecting safety or service feasibility.
3. Pricing, inclusions & extras
- Fares displayed or quoted are usually based on the selected route, vehicle category and approximate distance and duration.
- Unless clearly mentioned otherwise, tolls, parking charges, interstate taxes, entry fees and similar charges are payable directly by the customer to the driver or at the applicable counters.
- For local and hourly packages, extra kilometres and extra hours beyond the included limit are chargeable at the rate shared in the confirmation.
- Night charges, hill‑station road conditions or peak‑season surcharges may apply and will be communicated wherever possible in advance.
4. Waiting time & no‑show
- Drivers generally wait for a reasonable grace period at the pickup point. Extended waiting may be chargeable as per the applicable hourly or waiting rate.
- If the customer does not show up at the pickup location and cannot be contacted on the provided mobile number, the ride may be treated as a “no‑show” and any advance paid may be forfeited.
5. Changes, rescheduling & cancellations
- Any change in date, time, route, pickup or drop location is subject to vehicle and driver availability and may affect the fare.
- For outstation and tour bookings, free rescheduling or cancellation may be allowed up to a certain time before the trip; beyond that, cancellation charges may apply as per the specific package or confirmation message.
- If a booking is cancelled by us due to unforeseen reasons (such as vehicle breakdown, strike, natural calamity or safety concerns), we will try to arrange an alternative or process a suitable refund for any advance received. Our liability will be limited to the amount paid to us for that booking.
6. Use of vehicle & passenger responsibilities
- Seat belts should be used wherever provided. Local traffic and safety rules must be followed at all times.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol or illegal substances, and carrying hazardous materials inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited.
- Any damage to the vehicle or its fittings caused by the passenger(s) may be chargeable at actual repair or replacement cost.
- The driver has the right to refuse or stop the trip if passenger behaviour is abusive, unsafe or unlawful.
7. Luggage & personal belongings
- Please ensure your luggage size and quantity are suitable for the selected vehicle category.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the cab or during the trip. Passengers are advised to check their belongings before leaving the vehicle.
8. Tours & packages
- Itineraries shared for tour packages are indicative and may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, traffic, local regulations or operational reasons.
- Entry tickets, guide charges, activities, meals and accommodations are included only when explicitly mentioned in the package details or voucher.
- Any sightseeing or route change beyond the agreed itinerary may attract additional charges payable directly to the driver or as advised by our team.
9. Limitation of liability
- While every effort is made to provide on‑time and comfortable service, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, road works or other events beyond our control.
- Chandigarh Tour Travels shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, including loss of profits, missed flights, trains or onward connections, arising from the use of our services.
- Our maximum liability in any case will be limited to the amount paid to us for the specific booking in question.
10. Privacy
Your use of the website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. By using our services, you agree to the Privacy Policy as updated from time to time.
11. Intellectual property & website use
- All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics and images, is owned or licensed by Chandigarh Tour Travels and is protected by applicable laws.
- You agree not to copy, modify, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- You must not misuse the website by introducing malware, attempting unauthorised access or engaging in any activity that may disrupt its operation.
