Day 1
📍 Delhi → Shimla (Approx. 7–8 Hrs)
Your exciting Spiti Valley road trip begins with pickup from Delhi Airport, Railway Station, hotel, or your preferred location. Start the scenic drive towards Shimla via Chandigarh, Pinjore, and Solan while enjoying beautiful Himalayan views, pine forests, and winding mountain roads.
Upon arrival in Shimla, check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore Mall Road, The Ridge, Christ Church, and the lively local markets. Enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere and pleasant weather of the Queen of Hills. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2
📍 Shimla → Sarahan (Approx. 6–7 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed towards the beautiful village of Sarahan, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, apple orchards, and dense pine forests. Enjoy the scenic drive through Kufri, Narkanda, and Rampur while witnessing breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and the Sutlej River valley.
Upon arrival, visit the famous Bhimakali Temple, one of the most important temples in Himachal Pradesh known for its unique architecture and spiritual significance. Later check in to the hotel and enjoy peaceful mountain surroundings. Overnight stay in Sarahan.
Day 3
📍 Sarahan → Sangla → Chitkul → Kalpa (Approx. 8–9 Hrs)
After breakfast, continue the journey towards the mesmerizing Sangla Valley. Drive through beautiful mountain roads and riverside landscapes before reaching Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border.
Explore the peaceful village, wooden houses, Baspa River, and stunning Himalayan scenery. Spend some memorable time amidst the untouched natural beauty of Chitkul before continuing towards Kalpa.

Day 4
📍 Kalpa → Nako → Tabo (Approx. 7–8 Hrs)
After breakfast, begin the adventurous drive towards Spiti Valley through rugged mountain roads, dramatic cliffs, and barren landscapes. En route, stop at the beautiful Nako Lake and explore the peaceful Himalayan village of Nako.
Continue the journey towards Tabo while witnessing changing landscapes of the cold desert mountains. Upon arrival, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, famous for its centuries-old murals, Buddhist heritage, and spiritual atmosphere.

Day 5
📍 Tabo → Dhankar → Kaza (Approx. 5–6 Hrs)
After breakfast, visit the historic Dhankar Monastery beautifully situated on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. Enjoy breathtaking valley views and peaceful monastery surroundings.
Later continue towards Kaza, the main town and heart of Spiti Valley. En route, witness dramatic landscapes, riverside roads, ancient villages, and unique Himalayan terrain.

Day 6
📍 Kaza Local Sightseeing – Key Monastery → Kibber → Chicham
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion around the famous villages and monasteries of Spiti Valley. Visit the iconic Key Monastery, the largest and most famous Buddhist monastery in Spiti, beautifully located on a hilltop overlooking the valley.
Continue towards Kibber Village, known for its breathtaking scenery, wildlife, and traditional mud houses. Further visit the famous Chicham Bridge, one of the highest suspension bridges in Asia offering spectacular canyon views.
Return to Kaza in the evening after an unforgettable sightseeing experience. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 7
📍 Kaza Local Sightseeing – Langza → Hikkim → Komic
After breakfast, explore the beautiful high-altitude villages around Kaza. Visit Langza Village, famous for giant Buddha statues, fossil hunting, and panoramic Himalayan views.
Later continue towards Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, where you can send postcards to your loved ones from one of the highest inhabited places on Earth. Further proceed to Komic Village, one of the world’s highest motorable villages, known for its peaceful atmosphere and ancient monastery.
Enjoy breathtaking mountain views, Tibetan culture, and unique Himalayan landscapes before returning to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8
📍 Kaza → Kunzum Pass → Chandratal Lake (Approx. 6–7 Hrs)
After breakfast, begin the adventurous journey towards Chandratal Lake via Losar and Kunzum Pass. Enjoy mesmerizing views of glaciers, rugged mountains, barren valleys, and high-altitude Himalayan landscapes.
